HOW IT WORKS

Take a breath, we're here to help.

Step 1:
Consultation

Let us guide the way. Before we even talk about money, we're happy to offer a free phone or video parent consultation with a California board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist to determine if your child would benefit from a comprehensive assessment or therapy services at our clinic. No commitment is required after this consultation.

Step 2:
Assessment

Assessments are typically our first interaction with your child and may be recommended by one of our Speech Therapists based on a consultation. You may also request an assessment without a consultation. Speech and language assessments give us the opportunity to get to know your child and identify communication difficulties and opportunities. Assessments may include parent interviews, questionnaires, review of past services, observations, and formal standardized testing. All speech and language assessments will be conducted online via video calling. If you are interested in scheduling an assessment, please call or email us.

Step 3:
Assessment Review and Recommendations

After assessments are completed, we will schedule a meeting with parents to review results and answer any questions you may have. If therapy is recommended, a treatment plan will be developed at this time.

Step 4:
Therapy

Therapy plans are designed to address your child's individual needs. Our therapists engage children of all ages using interactive activities to elicit communication skills. Our goal is that your child will advance toward their goals while having fun in therapy. Services are provided in-home, in-clinic, or online via video calling. If you are interested in scheduling therapy sessions, please call or email us.

Step 5:
Progress Reports

Client progress is discussed with parents after each session. However, written progress reports may be requested at any time. We believe that the more therapists, family members, and children communicate with each other, the more successful our clients will be. We encourage continual communication with our families, and we are available to discuss any and all concerns you may have by phone or email.

Also:
Consultative Services

Sometimes children have speech and language needs that can be addressed outside of direct therapy. Our consultative service includes scheduled discussions with parents at least twice a month. Speech therapists will provide families with materials, suggestions, and counseling on how to target mild speech needs at home. If you are interested in a consultation model, please call or email us.
