Adora Samaan
Adora is the owner and founder of Be Heard Speech Therapy. She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist for over 10 years. She loves working with children and believes that families are experts when it comes to their children. She is passionate about helping families and ensuring that all concerns are acknowledged and understood. She created this clinic because she believes everybody has a voice and deserves to be heard.

Jennifer Gomez
Jennifer Gomez has been a speech language pathology assistant for 7 years. She absolutely loves her job! She recently graduated from ASU with a BA in communication disorders, and she is currently attending Baylor University to become a Speech Language Pathologist! Speech therapy is her passion and it brings her joy to see what she does improves children’s ability to increase their communication skills.
Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist
Destiny Johnson
Destiny Johnson M.S., CCC-SLP is a passionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in culturally competent, bilingual, and neuroaffirmative speech-language services. Graduating with a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, she has experience working with infants, toddlers, school-age, and adolescent students in both school-based, clinic, and in-home settings. Committed to increasing her knowledge in bilingual speech-language development, Destiny has joined a research lab that focuses on bilingual language acquisition in children. Furthermore, she has received an Advance Certificate in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology from Teacher’s College Columbia University. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, she continually learns and grows, fostering a lifelong learner mindset. She embraces each client’s unique journey, constantly striving to improve and connect with those she services. Her dedication to embracing diversity and respecting cultural beliefs ensures that her clients and their families receive a high quality of care to empower individuals to succeed in a diverse world.
Trilingual Speech Language Pathologist
Thomas de Miniac
Thomas de Miniac is a multilingual speech and language therapist who, in addition to holding a master’s degree and the certificate of clinical competence, also completed Columbia University’s Advanced Certificate in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology. As a culturally and linguistically diverse clinician himself, providing individualized and equitable speech-language services to children and adults in their own language(s) is a standard practice. Thomas works
and lives in English, Spanish and French, while always striving to grow his knowledge of other cultures. With extensive experience in home-based, outpatient-based, inpatient-based, and school-based pediatric and adult intervention, his scope of practice is wide and encompasses
deficits that spread across the lifespan.

Thomas de Miniac es un terapeuta multilingüe que, además de tener su maestría y certificado de competencia clínica, también obtuvo el Certificado Avanzado en Patología del Habla y del Lenguaje Bilingüe de la Universidad de Columbia. Brindar servicios de habla y lenguaje individualizados y equitativos a niños y adultos en su(s) propio(s) idioma(s) es una práctica estándar para él. Thomas trabaja y vive en inglés, español y francés, mientras siempre se esfuerza por crecer su conocimiento de otras culturas. Con amplia experiencia en intervención pediátrica y para adultos en el hogar, en clínicas ambulatorias, en hospitales y en las escuelas, su ámbito de práctica es amplio y abarca deficitos que se extienden a lo largo de la vida.

Amanda Alcantara
Amanda Alcantara is a Cal State Fullerton Alumni with a BA in Communication Disorders. She began her SLPA journey two years ago and has experience working in clinic and school settings. As a passionate advocate for children’s language development, she’s had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of clients from various age groups and backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Teresa Snyder
Teresa has seven years of experience as a speech language pathologist, working with children who have a variety of communication needs. She brings a holistic mindset to all of her therapy sessions, taking into consideration each child’s interests and sensory system. Teresa’s style of therapy includes following the child’s lead during natural play-based activities. Her goal is to empower caretakers and families to build communication skills throughout their daily routines. Teresa uses her creative, calm, and playful personality to foster authentic connections with clients and their families. Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time with her partner and two kids at local parks and beaches, as well as creating art.

Jada Augustine
Jada Augustine is the founder & chief executive officer of Jada's Got Your Backpack and Beyond the Label Los Angeles. Ms. Augustine is a philanthropist first and a speech-language pathologist second. She has taken on roles such as being a mentor, and supervisor for the University of the West Indies- St. Augustine located in the one and only Trinidad and Tobago. Ms. Augustine is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of California Los Angeles UCLA and California State Los Ángeles CSULA. Her goal is to do extensive research on how to effectively serve minority families who have children with special needs.

Alejandra Tercero Neri
Alejandra Tercero Neri is a Cal State Fullerton graduate with a major in communication disorders. She has over five years of experience as a special education paraprofessional working with children of all ages. Her passion for helping others and positively impacting her clients' lives is unmatched. She is a lifelong student and constantly seeking to further improve as a therapist by taking on new challenges and finding new methods to help her clients.

Erika Serrato
Erika is a graduate of New York University with her Masters of Science in Communication Science and Disorders. Working with kids has always been her passion, previously having been a preschool teacher for several years. She is a big advocate of using play and child led therapy. In her free time, she loves to watch lots of movies, travel, and cuddle with her cat.

Renee Snyder
Renee began working as a SLPA three years ago. She graduated from Cal State University Los Angeles with her BA in Communicative Disorders. Previous experience also includes working as an early intervention teacher at a speech clinic. She started her professional journey after observing in home therapy as a mother of twins with a speech delay. “My favorite part of speech therapy is working with the family as a team on the child’s goals and watching the breakthrough. When the child says their first word or makes their first sign, it’s so rewarding!” In her free time she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, listening to live music, dancing and traveling.
